If you are a beauty salon owner, prior to beginning treatment, please ensure the following things before the treatment begin:

• Ensure all makeup is removed from the treatment area and the skin is clean and dry before starting.
• Excess hair in the treatment area should be removed prior.
• Inform clients to remove any metal jewelry from the treatment site.
• Before beginning, outline the treatment boundaries with a marker for proper handle placement.
• Take before photos for documentation and comparison after.
• Technicians must wear gloves when touching a client’s skin to avoid potential current issues.
• Address any questions before starting and ensure informed consent. Their comfort is the top priority.

Explain to clients what sensations to expect: They will first feel a mild warming sensation. As the temperature increases to the target level, the warmth will intensify until a constant temperature is reached, which will feel more comfortable. 1. Avoid treating directly over the belly button.
2. Use caution around the Adam’s apple. When treating the neck and double chin area, ensure the lower edge of the handle does not touch the thyroid cartilage or trachea skin, as this could damage the skin. Treatment of the thyroid cartilage or trachea is contraindicated.
3. Only treat areas that will allow for full surface contact between the skin and handle.
4. Make sure there is at least 1cm of soft tissue in the treatment area.
5. Do not apply direct pressure to hard structures like bone or cartilage.
6. Ensure the skin in the treatment area is completely dry before use. Also make sure the energy output area of the handle is dry. Treating wet skin or using a wet handle could lead to adverse events.
